Over the years, while delivering handcrafted beds and mattresses to customers across France, Spain, Portugal, Italy, Switzerland, and beyond, we noticed a common request. Customers repeatedly asked whether we could also supply high-quality British-made sofas to complement their bedrooms and homes. Many were struggling to find well-made sofas that offered the same level of craftsmanship, quality materials, and personal service they had experienced when purchasing from the Cousins Group.

Recognising this growing demand, the Cousins Group acquired an established British sofa manufacturing facility, together with its production lines, skilled craftsmen, and upholstery expertise. This strategic acquisition enabled us to expand our offering while maintaining the same values that have made the Cousins name trusted by customers across Europe.

A key part of this acquisition was the addition of Michael Jordan, who now heads up sofa design and production at Jordan & Cousins. With extensive industry experience and a passion for creating beautiful furniture, Michael oversees every stage of the manufacturing process, from initial design concepts through to final production. His attention to detail and commitment to quality ensures that every sofa leaving our factory meets the high standards our customers expect.
